Great place to spend Memorial Day weekend.
It's almost impossible to get a slip there. They don't seem to know who has reserved slips. Some people rope off a slip so it appears like it's taken but the dock master has no record of it. They need to be much more organized

After living out of state for several years, returning to Davis Park was a breath of fresh air!
Over the years, Davis Park has widened and improved some of it's boardwalks and built shower points close to the Casino and beach access point.
Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, masks are still required whilst in large groups waiting on the dock for departures and arrivals. Also in public facilities (bathrooms, stores, ferries, restaurant, etc.).
So long as Social Distancing is observed, Davis Park and Watch Hill are still great places to escape to!
We arrived around 11am on a partly cloudy day, which eventually turned out sunny. Enjoyed swimming in the ocean, walking through the community, eat lunch at the Grill next to the marina store...
I would highly recommend traveling for a visit (also brushing up on your foreign languages such as French or German for their are many tourists coming over to enjoy this special place with us. It is awesome having international friends!).
Been going there all my life and love the place. I think the dockside parties need to be a little more controlled. People across the way put chairs across the dock and made walking by a chore. A 2 foot walkway would be nice
Davis Park is the greatest! Be warned however, they have a phone number but will never answer the phone. There is no website, you cannot make reservations. If you want a spot you guys go there.
